Jason M. Franco - Board Member

Jason M. Franco was born in Bakersfield, California, and began his musical journey in junior high school while living in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for mariachi music and dedicated himself to mastering the vihuela. Determined to pursue music at a higher level, he set a goal to attend the prestigious Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, where he continued to refine his musical talents throughout high school.

After graduating, Mr. Franco began his professional career as an understudy for the vihuela position with Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar. His dedication and skill quickly earned him a full-time position with the ensemble. Since then, he has grown into a respected musician and educator, currently serving as the Armonía Director at Cue Music Inc.

In addition to his work in mariachi, Mr. Franco has expanded his musical reach by recording with internationally recognized pop artists such as Camila Cabello and David Bisbal, showcasing the versatility of his musicianship.
